About
With over 15 years of IT experience, I am a passionate and dedicated technical security architect at ACC New Zealand, a crown entity that provides comprehensive, no-fault personal injury cover for all New Zealand residents and visitors.
As a Microsoft MVP and a certified Sentinel and Defender for Cloud black belt, I design and implement comprehensive endpoint and cloud application strategies using Microsoft Defender for Server and Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps across the ACC environment. I also specialise in SIEM and threat intelligence, having architected and defined the Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) framework and the role-based access control for the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Previously, I worked as a SIEM architect for Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand, leading the national SIEM/SOC project for the health sector. I also worked as a technical security consultant for the Ministry of Health New Zealand, supporting the SOC/SIEM, threat intelligence, and E5 projects. I enjoy the challenges of IT and cybersecurity, and I strive to deliver solutions that protect and enhance the health and wellbeing of New Zealanders.
